Feasibility

Stage duration: 1 month

Over the course of 3 to 4 weeks, we work with our partners to optimise the design of available land. This will include ensuring that the design accommodates local substation energy requirements and the requirements of adjacent and future landowners.

Lease and Ownership

Stage duration: 2 months

A typical partnership will be in the form of a 20+ year lease agreement between Terra Solar and the landowner. We work hard to take account of all present stakeholder interests while also protecting the interests of the next generation.

Grid Connection and Planning Permission

Stage duration: 9 - 12 months

Understanding electricity grid requirements and the planning process is key to a successful project. We work very closely with the relevant regulatory bodies and network providers to ensure that both electricity grid and planning applications have high success rates.

Development

Stage duration: 4 - 6 months

The construction process can be completed in a 4 month timeframe and with minimal or no disruption to adjacent land. Connection to the grid will typically take place at the end of the 4 month development period.
